How Can I Get More Storage Space In My Small Bathroom Cabinet And Drawers? |
|
|
Bathrooms of any size are a challenge to organize and keep decluttered. There is so many personal grooming things that you need access to every day from makeup, combs, brushes to toothbrush and tooth paste. Small bathrooms are even harder to use all of the storage space without making the bathroom feel cramped or cluttered. The typical small bathroom has a vanity with one or if you are fortunate two small drawers with the sink eating up the space for the third larger drawer. Underneath the sink is only large space to work with and the sink’s plumbing is taking up a large amount of the useful space. Here are several practical solutions on how to make the most use of the space in your bathroom without having to resort to tearing down walls. Clean And Purge Put in metal or plastic storage shelves under the sink so that you can double up the storage space beneath the vanity sink. Put all of your chemicals, cleaning supplies and shampoo bottles under the sink. Clean Off The Countertop Clutter Go for the bare minimum look on your countertop: a box of tissue and hand soap. I prefer using a bottle of hand soap instead of a bar because the bar tends to make a mess around it. Everything else needs to be in a drawer or in the medicine cabinet. Don’t Use Your Medicine Cabinet For Medicine Create Personal Use Drawers If you don’t have that many drawers, don’t worry, this will still work. Give each family member a cubby or small plastic tray that will hold their top ten items. Store the trays together in a drawer or under the sink. Utilize The Space Over The Sink |
